Anna Hodge, Senior editor of Auckland

It was great having the senior editor Anna Hodge in to talk to us about the processes of publication. She gave us some advice on the fact that we should always write for ourselves. She did also say that Auckland Uni Press only publish non-fiction, creative non-fiction and poetry, as a fiction writer it'd be harder for me to get recognized but that's okay, I'm able to publish through other local publishers. She talked about how fresh and new ideas are the way to go.
